This Will Never Happen to Me!

October 23, 2018 @ 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm

But What if it Does? Are You Prepared? Part III

What: Paying for the Different Levels of Care

Presenters: Herb Chavers, Esq., Jennifer Bennett, Care Consultant, Colleen Nilsen, CSA

Who Should Attend: You and your Children!

Please join us as Jennifer provides an overview of “aging in place” at home and as Colleen provides an overview of options when “aging in place” at home becomes impractical or impossible. Then Herb will discuss the various ways of paying for such care, privately, through insurance or through government benefit programs such as the VA (with new rules effective October 18th) and/or Medi-Cal. Herb will also discuss the Number One Myth about long-term care, that Medicare will pay for it! We will also allow plenty of time for your questions!

As I discussed in my recent letters, during almost 30 years of advising clients and their families planning for and journeying through the later seasons of life, I’ve found the most difficult and stressful situations involves clients or their loved ones who have experienced a catastrophic health crisis. Especially those who were completely unprepared for such a season. Therefore, I hope you and your children join us so you and your children will be better prepared to journey through the challenging season following a catastrophic health crisis.

Please RSVP to my office by telephone at (951) 369-1335 or by e-mail at Brandie@Chaverslaw.com or via www.Chaverslaw.com by clicking on the Events tab.

I hope to see you (and your children) on October 23rd!

Sincerely,

Herb Chavers
